TobyMac, real name Kevin Michael McKeehan, is an American singer. The 55-year-old has been convincing audiences with his Christian content since 1987, when he founded the band dc Talk with his friends from his student days. TobyMac has been travelling as a solo artist since 2001.

On 28 September 2018, TobyMac released his deeply personal single “Scars”, which gives an insight into his life as a Christian father, husband and artist. TobyMac dedicated this song to his first-born son Truett, who turned 20 this year.
He tells his son that he is never alone when life scars him, but that there is always a God to count on.
We think this is music that goes to the heart.
